This Clinical Research Core covers a wide range of methodologies and operational activities that will enable you to conduct high-quality clinical research on older adults. From clinical trials to gathering biological specimens and observing factors related to mobility and disability prevention, this Core has you covered on the following: 

  • Recruitment strategies for enrollment of older participants in your research study 
  • Active community-based registry of more than 3,000 older adults 
  • Standardized assessment of physical function, mobility and cognitive function 
  • Consultations on regulations for conducting clinical research and clinical trials 
  • Equipment resources for conducting physical and cognitive assessments on older adults 
  • Shared clinical research space to conduct clinical research on older adults
