Study investigates mindful walks, healthier minds

Man walking in sunshine A new study coauthored by investigators in the UF Claude D. Pepper Center reveals that older adults with memory concerns are more likely to recreationally walk in neighborhoods that are quiet, green, and full of natural beauty.  By shaping our streets to be more peaceful and pleasant for walking, we may be able to boost brain health and keep aging minds active and engaged.
